Some reviews:

''For a lot of bands going deep into the red is something to be avoided but for Threes And Will’s “Surnute Mets” it is just another Tuesday. The painful yet precise noise rock mantras he sculpts on here happen to be some of his most sophisticated. Hypnotic in terms of their trance-like ethos, these are works that reveal greater meaning with each additional listen. Definitely the volume needs to be watched on this one for these are excruciatingly loud works but provide a bit of that Zen-like calm that good noise produces. By embracing the simple gestures and amplifying them to 11, he creates a universe that is completely unescapable.
Clever balance starts things off with serious gusto on the unusual opener “Targoviste”, best described as an Ennio Morricone soundtrack set on fire. Much louder still the title track “Surnute Mets” ups the ante considerably, featuring some truly brutal guitar work. A choral work of sorts “Vermessenheit” feels surreal in scope, with multiple voices seemingly mixed together with unrepentantly intense scree that would make Masonna proud. Like a spy soundtrack gone wrong “Exile” has a playful weirdness to it, recalling a bit of Shit & Shine’s modus operandi. Math rock stuck in a groove makes “Pureté Païenne” unusually catchy. “Szigetvar” has a hyperactivity towards it with tempos pushed well past the breaking point. Bringing things to an almost reflective close comes “Pureté Païenne II”.
“Surnute Mets” embraces the psychedelic element of noise to a great degree, showing off Threes And Will’s careful attention to themes and detail.'' www.beachsloth.com/threes-and-will-surnute-mets.html

''Following the genre defying rawness and raucousness of last year's Caxias, Estonia's Threes And Will returned to close the tempestuous 2020 with new album, Surnute Mets, another example of discordance and monotony. The new album deconstructs krautrock, psychedelic rock and stoner rock in the artist's deft manner, and strains them through a drone and power electronics filter, resulting to something abnormally entrancing, hypnotizing and downright nonconformist.'' -http://www.destroyexist.com/2021/01/threes-and-will-targoviste.html

about

Threes And Will Estonia

In 1953, a dying Aborigine named Kinjika was flown from Arnhem Land in Australia's Northern Territory to a hospital in Darwin. Tests revealed he had not been poisoned, injured, nor was he suffering from any sort of injury. Yet, the man was most definitely dying. After four days of agony spent in the hospital, Kinjika died on the fifth.

One-man band from Estonia.
